This agreement is between you and RoVibeCoder ("we", "us"), run by its owner. It sets the rules for installing and using RoVibeCoder. Please read it before you install. By installing or using RoVibeCoder you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use RoVibeCoder.
RoVibeCoder is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Roblox Corporation. Roblox and Roblox Studio are trademarks of Roblox Corporation.
1. What this agreement covers
"RoVibeCoder" means the desktop app for Windows, its installer, the RoVibeCoder plugin for Roblox Studio, the helper program RoVibeCoder runs inside its Linux virtual machine, the project templates, the documentation, and any updates we provide.
Using RoVibeCoder needs an active paid license (section 2). Skill packs and the asset catalogue ("licensed content") are delivered online by our content service under that license. Our Terms of Sale and Service explain how you buy a license, which we sell on our Discord server, how you renew it and what it includes. This agreement also applies to licensed content.
Some parts of RoVibeCoder are open-source software under their own licenses (section 7).
2. Your license to use RoVibeCoder
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install RoVibeCoder on Windows computers that you own or control and, while you have an active license bought from us, to use it to create and work on your own projects.
Downloading and installing RoVibeCoder is free. Using it needs an active license: the app checks your license when it starts and every 6 hours, and locks when the license ends or when it has not been able to check the license for 14 days. While it is locked, nothing new can be started in it; work that is already running keeps going until you stop it or close the app. Renewing your license or activating another one unlocks it. Your projects and files stay on your PC while the app is locked (section 3).
If you accept this agreement for an organisation, "you" means that organisation. It may let its staff use RoVibeCoder under this agreement and is responsible for how they use it.
RoVibeCoder and licensed content may be used only while your license is active (apart from finishing work already running when it ends, as above), and only on as many devices at a time as your plan allows.
RoVibeCoder is licensed to you, not sold. We keep every right this agreement does not give you.
3. Your projects and what you make
- Your work is yours. We claim no rights in your projects, your games, the assets you create or import, or the code and other material your AI agents produce for you. They stay on your PC and remain yours when your license ends, and you may keep working on them with other tools.
- Template files. When you create a project, RoVibeCoder writes starter files into it: template code, instructions for coding agents and starter skills. You may use, change, publish and sell them as part of your own games and projects. You may not distribute them on their own, for example as a template pack, or as part of a product that competes with RoVibeCoder.
- Skill packs. While your license is active, your agents may use skill packs through RoVibeCoder for your projects. What your agents make with them is yours. You may not copy skill pack files out of RoVibeCoder, share them, publish them, or keep using them after your license ends.
- Catalogue assets. When the asset catalogue is available, each asset comes with the
license shown next to it. Follow that license, including any credit it asks for. When you
export an asset into a project, RoVibeCoder writes its credit into the project's
asset-attributions.jsonfile; keep that file with your project.
4. What you must not do
You must not:
- copy, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or distribute RoVibeCoder or licensed content, except as this agreement allows;
- decompile, disassemble or otherwise reverse engineer RoVibeCoder, except to the extent the law allows this despite this restriction (for example, to make it work with other software);
- remove, bypass or interfere with license checks, device limits, signature checks or usage limits, or help anyone else do so;
- share your license key or your signed-in devices with people your license does not cover;
- use RoVibeCoder to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to break Roblox's terms and rules for creators;
- remove or change copyright, trademark or license notices in RoVibeCoder.
5. AI agents work on your computer
RoVibeCoder starts the AI coding agents that you choose and install, and gives them tools to work on your project. Agents follow instructions from you and from AI models. They can make mistakes, follow harmful instructions hidden in files, web pages or models, change or delete files, and send data over the internet.
- Run on this PC: the agent runs with your Windows user rights. RoVibeCoder's own tools are limited to the project, but the agent's built-in tools are limited only by the agent's own permission prompts.
- Run in VM: the agent works inside a Linux virtual machine that sees only the active project. It can still change or delete files in that project and reach the internet.
- Roblox Studio: if you allow an agent to make edits in Studio, it can change the place you have open and start playtests.
You decide which agents to run and what to allow them to do. Review their work before you run, publish or sell it. Keep backups and use version control.
6. Other companies' software and services
RoVibeCoder works with software and services that we do not provide, such as agent command-line tools and the AI model providers behind them, Roblox Studio, QEMU, Microsoft WebView2, the Ubuntu image, Node.js and npm packages installed into the virtual machine, Discord, where we sell licenses, and PayPal and the blockchain networks you pay with. Their own licenses and terms apply between you and their providers, and we are not responsible for them. You sign in to agent tools with your own accounts or API keys; RoVibeCoder never reads, stores or forwards those credentials. See section 10 of the Terms of Sale and Service. Rojo, which RoVibeCoder does include, is one of the open-source components in section 7.
7. Open-source components
RoVibeCoder includes open-source software, among it an unmodified copy of Rojo
(tools\rojo.exe, under the Mozilla Public License 2.0). The components and their licenses are
listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt in the installation folder and in RoVibeCoder's About dialog,
with where the source code of Rojo and of the other components that need it is available. Those
licenses apply to those components, and nothing in this agreement limits the rights they give
you.
8. Downloading, installing and updating
- Download RoVibeCoder only from our website, rovibecoder.nearcsx.dev. The installer and the app are not code-signed, so Windows may warn you before the installer runs. Compare the file with the SHA-256 checksum we publish for each release before you run it.
- RoVibeCoder does not update itself. You install new versions yourself. Some skill pack versions, and the content service, may need a minimum version of the app.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data RoVibeCoder and our content service handle. In short: your projects stay on your computer, the app sends no analytics or crash reports, and it contacts our server only once you activate a license, to check it and deliver licensed content.
10. Ending this agreement
You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling RoVibeCoder. We may end it if you seriously break it. When it ends, stop using RoVibeCoder and uninstall it. Your projects stay yours. Sections 3, 4, 11, 12 and 14 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
Your license ending does not end this agreement: the app locks (section 2) until you renew your license or activate another one, as section 6 of the Terms of Sale and Service describes.
11. No warranty
We work to make RoVibeCoder reliable, but to the extent the law allows, we provide it "as is", without any promise that it will be free of errors, work without interruption, or suit a particular purpose.
If you are a consumer, you keep the rights consumer law gives you, for example the right in the EU and the UK to digital content that is as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in this agreement limits those rights.
12. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of data or projects, lost profits or income, actions Roblox or anyone else takes against your account or games, or any indirect loss.
- Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amounts you paid us for RoVibeCoder licenses in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
- Nothing in this agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breaking this agreement or failing to use reasonable care.
13. Trademarks
RoVibeCoder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Roblox Corporation. We do not use Roblox's logos. Roblox, Roblox Studio, Discord, PayPal and other names of third-party products are trademarks of their owners and appear only to identify those products.
14. General
- Your rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer, nothing in this agreement limits the rights you have under the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
- The whole agreement. This agreement, the Terms of Sale and Service and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about RoVibeCoder.
- Severability. If a court finds part of this agreement invalid, the rest still applies.
- Transfer. You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else without our consent. We may transfer it to whoever takes over RoVibeCoder, provided your rights are not reduced.
- Contact. We can be reached only on our Discord server, which every page of our website, rovibecoder.nearcsx.dev, links to.
