Download RoVibeCoder
Version 0.1.0, published 20 October 2026. For Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. The download is free; using RoVibeCoder needs a license, which you buy on our Discord server (how buying works).
- SHA-256
- 4ab018e57d4d6cca1a1334401c05a80c00546c017e90254a8d304bde9184bbb1
- Code signing
- Not signed yet
- Other files
- SHA256SUMS.txt The SHA-256 of every file in this release. The Studio plugin comes with the app: its Setup page installs it into Studio.
Make sure the file is exactly the one we published.
Before you run the installer, compare its SHA-256 with the one on this page. It takes a few seconds in PowerShell.
-
Open PowerShell: press Win, type
PowerShelland press Enter. -
Paste this line and press Enter. It assumes the file is in your Downloads folder; change the path if you saved it elsewhere.
(Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\RoVibeCoder_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe" -Algorithm SHA256).Hash -eq "4ab018e57d4d6cca1a1334401c05a80c00546c017e90254a8d304bde9184bbb1" -
True means the file is byte for byte the one published here. False means it is not: delete it, do not run it, and download it again.
To see the hash itself, run
Get-FileHash .\RoVibeCoder_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe in the folder you saved it to. Upper or lower case does
not matter.
If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
The installer is not signed with a code-signing certificate yet, so Windows cannot show who published it, and Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may stop it the first time. That is expected for this release. Check the SHA-256 first, then:
-
If your browser holds the download back because the file “isn’t commonly downloaded”, keep it. In Microsoft Edge: select … next to the download, then Keep, then Show more and Keep anyway.
-
Open the installer. When the blue Windows protected your PC window appears, select More info.
-
Check the details. The app must be
RoVibeCoder_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe. The publisher shows as “Unknown publisher” because the file is not signed. -
Select Run anyway. The installer shows the license agreement, installs RoVibeCoder for your Windows user and adds the WebView2 runtime if your PC does not have it yet.
Smart App Control. On Windows 11 with Smart App Control turned on, Windows blocks apps that are not signed and offers no “Run anyway”. RoVibeCoder cannot be installed on such a PC until it is signed. Contact support if this affects you.
What your PC needs
- Windows
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64), with Windows’ own OpenSSH Client, which is there by default from Windows 10 version 1809.
- Memory
- The agent VM takes 4 GB by default (you can change it), and Windows reserves all of it while the VM runs, on top of what Roblox Studio uses.
- Processor
- The VM uses 4 virtual CPUs by default. With the Windows Hypervisor Platform feature turned on, and virtualization turned on in your PC’s firmware, it runs at full speed; without them it falls back to much slower software emulation.
- Disk
- The 252 MB Ubuntu base image, plus the VM’s disks, which grow as agent CLIs and their caches are installed. The asset bank holds up to 8 GB.
- QEMU
-
The free virtual machine program the agent VM runs on. The app’s setup checklist
installs it with
winget, or you can install it from qemu.org. - Roblox Studio
- Installed for your Windows user. RoVibeCoder includes Rojo and installs its Studio plugin and Rojo’s into Studio’s plugins folder when you ask it to.
- An AI agent
- An account or API key for Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode or Gemini CLI. The VM installs the CLIs for you.
- A license
- An active RoVibeCoder license, bought on our Discord server. You activate it on the app’s Account page; without one, the app stays locked.
- Internet
- To download the base image and the CLIs, for your agent’s AI provider, and to check your license at least once every 14 days.
